Unfailing love

We had it at Kate’s house and it was a bit smaller then the last couple, there was about 25-30ish people. The icebreaker that we did was the one where you go around the room and you say your name then something that you like that starts with the same letter as your name. My name is Meredith and I like marching bands. It was fun,  some people came up with interesting things. It was good to have a smallerish group for this game because it took awhile to go around the room with everyone. I really think it helped people to remember others names though, fun game :). Jenna and Julia lead worship then Dave lead the discussion about prayer. It was our first homegroup where we didnt break out into smaller groups, it went really well and  smoothly. Dave did a great job with leading it and asked good questions. For me,  I struggle with God’s timing or his responses to me when I pray.  I pray about something very serious and God’s response is ”trust me”.  hmph.  Afterwards we went around the room and started at the beginning of the alphabet and said thanks to God for something beginning with that letter.

Lifegroups were good, everyone showed up for mine. Our lifegroup was a bit more serious then the last couple, tried to go a bit deeper with the girls, be vulnerable. Afterwards a group of went to Kerr to get a late night snack and then I went to sleep.

Going on week 3 of training for the half marathon. I officially paid the 75 dollars to run it, so I’m in, no turning back and no giving up. Me and the rec have  become close friends these past couple of weeks. It stinks because it takes 8 laps to run a mile so I end up running like 32 laps around it. Geeze. Still too hot to run outside, probably will be able to start in a few weeks. I am learning to enjoy running more because I am able to spend time just hanging out with the Lord in deep prayer. It’s been nice.  :)

Started taking Hannah through D-class, it’s really cool. Hannah is awesome, I feel blessed that God has paired her and  I up as partners.
