It has been about two weeks since my last update.
Last week’s Homegroup and so on.
We all celebrated my birthday dinner at Fuzzy’s, it was fun, mostly people from Homegroup and then a few others came. Kayla bought me a margarita, my first drink for turing twenty one. After dinner we then went to Kate’s house for homegroup. The girls made me a pink castle cake and everyone sung me happy birthday. It was Hannah’s first time to lead worship and she did a great job! :) Jenna did an awesome job leading her Homegroup discussion. I’m excited to see more people serving in the homegroup this semester! We split up in lifegroups to fill out our spiritual gifts survey. Afterwards, I headed to bed and Jenna drove me to the airport on Friday morning to head to Orange. It was my first time in five months to go to my parents house. Friday night I went to the football game with my parents and then made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies at Rebecca’s house. Saturday I stayed at the house to study for finance some and then went and watched LCM march in the all region competition. Wow, three years ago at this time, I was drum major and we were state bound. Later that night a group of us went to the Lamar football game and went out to eat afterwards. It’s crazy how much has changed since high school. It’s good. Flew home to Denton on Sunday and Hannah picked me up in Dallas. This birthday was the best I have had while in college.
I’m going to LT CO 2011.
